This weekend training focuses exclusively on the essential areas covered in preparing for the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) Exam™.

The three weekend training covers the core sections and a series of sample exam questions that provides participants with a “feel” of the format and the types of questions encountered on the CISA exam. The correct answers of each question are also reviewed for a better understanding of expectations of the ISACA Certification Board. This intensive course is an ideal way to prepare for the exam. You don’t have to miss work and can fully be engaged in the training on the weekends prior to the examination. Participants gain valuable experience reviewing these core sections and answering sample exam questions with an experienced instructor and former CSO, while strengthening

The Certified Information Systems Auditor is ISACA’s strong credential earned by Audit & Compliance professionals. It is for individual who must maintain a secure and compliance enterprise by managing, designing, overseeing, and assessing an organizations information security program.

What you will learn in CISA Training:

Content Area 1:
IS Audit Process: To provide IS audit standards, guidelines, and best practices to assist the organization in ensuring that its information technology and business systems are protected and controlled.

Content Area 2:
IT Governance: Provide assurance that the organization has the structure, processes, accountability, mechanisms, and monitoring practices in place to achieve the requirements of corporate governance of IT.

Content Area 3:
Systems and Infrastructure Lifecycle: To provide assurance that the management practices for the development/acquisition, testing, implementation, maintenance, and disposal of systems and infrastructure will meet the organization’s objectives.

Content Area 4:
IT service delivery and support: To provide assurance that the IT service management practices will ensure the delivery of the level of services required to meet the organization’s objectives.

Content Area 5:
Protection of Information Assets: To provide assurance that the security architecture (policies, standards, procedures, and controls) ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

Content Area 6 and Final Review:

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery/CISA Review and Practice Exam: To provide assurance that, in the event of a disruption the business continuity and disaster recovery processes will ensure the timely resumption of IT services while minimizing the business impact. Complete review of the 6 content areas and participate in a practice exam to prepare you for the December, 2009 CISA exam.
